About
I received my BA & MA in psychology from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon before teaching undergraduate psychology courses there and at the Lebanese American University.
My thesis focused on exploring the research practices of published Lebanese researchers (Alamuddin & Zebian, 2010. My list of publications can be viewed through my homepage link).
Working with the International Medical Corps in South Lebanon after the July2006 war inspired me to pursue an applied degree, which lead me to Northwestern University's Human Development and Social Policy PhD program.
I am currently in the process of developing a longitudinal study of ethnic identity development and positive outcomes in Arab American youth in Chicago.
