About
My research interest concerns the process of media filtering in the new media environment, particularly regarding public affairs and political information. I have experience in qualitative (interviewing, participant observation) and quantitative research (text analysis, network analysis, basic statistics) with a focus on joining these approaches to answer research questions. My dissertation is an in-depth analysis of how and why news consumers filter media content and the role of digital technologies in the information selection process.
