About
David Calder is a second year doctoral student in the Interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Theatre and Drama (IPTD) at Northwestern University. He received his BA in French Literature with a minor in Literature and Psychology from Trinity College in Hartford, CT. His current research interests include French and Francophone theatre from the Algerian War to the present (with particular emphasis on May ’68 factory tours and post-May malaise), theatre and radical politics, and theories of urban and industrial space.
